After running a super search, the results can be customized by editing the columns and display of data. For example, additional columns can be added, multiple fields can be combined into one column, and column labels can be edited.
Edits to the columns are reflected if the super search results are exported and are retained after navigating away from super search results.
Default list views can be configured at the site level in Admin Tools & Settings. This allows default columns to be configured for different types of super searches.
Add or Remove Columns
- Navigate to a super search, and then click Add/Remove Columns.
- Use the search bar to quickly locate a specific column, or click through the lists of available columns.
- Check or uncheck boxes to include or remove columns to display in the search results.
- Click Save.
Edit Column Display
Multiple column display options are available to further customize super search results. Click the three dots icon next to a column to access the available options.
-
Sort - Choose an option to sort the column in ascending or descending order, or clear an existing sort. Search results can also be sorted by multiple columns using the Add to Multi-Sort option.
- Columns that are sorted by date and timestamp are sorted down to the millisecond on the backend of the system. If two records have an identical date and timestamp down to the minute, the list will be ordered according to the millisecond.
-
Edit Display - Edit the column label, add a field label to the search results, or select to display the column data in bold.
- Check Display in Bold to make the column label and all data within the column display in bold text.
- Check the box for Display Field Label and enter the desired field label to add it before each result in the list view for the column, as shown in the image below.
- Refer to the Edit the Code Display for a Column section below for additional details for a code type column.
- Duplicate Column - Add another copy of the column to the super search results.
-
Add/Remove Additional Fields - Add up to five additional fields to the column. This allows more data to be grouped within the column. For example, the Grant Start field was added to the Grant Term column in the image below.
- Pin Column - Pin the column either on the far left or right side of the list view to keep the column in place while scrolling.
-
Move Column - Use the options to move the column into the desired location.
- Columns can also be dragged and dropped into the desired location.
- Autosize This Column - Automatically resize the column to fully display the data in each row.
- Remove This Column - Remove the column from the super search results.
Resize a column by dragging the vertical line in the column header.
Click Reset Columns to Default to reset the columns to the system default, removing any formatting and column additions or removals.

In the example below, the Program Area column displays both primary and secondary code assignments separated by a semicolon.
