With both the Adobe Sign and DocuSign integrations, the Clear E-Signature Access Token option serves as a refresh button for the connection. Similar to a browser cache, it clears out any old data that might be causing issues. This option only affects your session; it does not impact any other users.
The Clear E-Signature Access Token option should be used in the following situations:
- Authentication Failures - When a user cannot authenticate or access the e-signature integration through GivingData.
- Unexpected Integration Behavior - When a user experiences inconsistent behavior with e-signature features in GivingData and wants to refresh the session data.
- Troubleshooting Integration Errors - When users encounter errors when trying to send documents for signature or access e-signature features.
Follow the steps below to use the Clear E-Signature Access Token option.
- Click your initials in the navigation menu.
- Click Profile.
- Click DocuSign or Adobe Sign.
- Click Clear DocuSign Access Token or Clear Adobe Sign Access Token.
- Click Clear.
- This action will log you out of your current DocuSign or Adobe Sign session and you will be prompted to log in the next time you utilize the integration.
