If you encounter a bug, other issue, or question in your GivingData site, you can submit a Support ticket to receive assistance. This can be done in several ways:
- Click the question mark icon in the upper navigation bar of your site, and then click Support Request.
- Submit the form that opens in a new tab.
- Submit the form that opens in a new tab.
- Email support@givingdata.com.
- Include details outlined in the Submit a Thorough Ticket section below.
- From an error message in your site, click the link to submit a Support request.
A software bug is an error, flaw, failure or fault in a computer program or system that causes it to produce an incorrect or unexpected result, or to behave in unintended ways. Bugs are a normal part of software development, and GivingData works to fix them as soon as possible.
Submit a Thorough Ticket
To expedite a solution, please include the following information when submitting a Support ticket:
- What steps did you take to produce this issue? Are you able to reproduce the issue following these same steps?
- What browser and version are you using?
- To find the version for Google Chrome, click the three dots icon in the upper-right corner of the browser window, click Help, and then click About Google Chrome.
- To find the version for Safari, click Safari in the top menu bar, and then click About Safari.
- Does the issue continue after clearing the browser cache and logging out and back in?
- If possible, include a screenshot of the issue.
- If possible, please include a screenshot of the console from the web page.
