The OneDrive Premium Document Management integration is available as an add-on to all subscriptions. Contact your CSM to confirm details about which features are included or available to add on to your specific subscription.
This integration cannot be used in conjunction with OneDrive Document Linking.
The OneDrive Premium Document Management integration allows you to store your GivingData documents in your organization's OneDrive environment. Documents in GivingData records open directly in the OneDrive/SharePoint environment, with the option to open in an installed desktop app. GivingData Document Management and Linking Options Overview contains more details about document linking and the various document management options.
The checklist below serves as a high-level overview of the integration set-up phases. The phases labeled "Client Instructions" contain the items to ensure you have checked off before moving forward, as well as linked articles with detailed instructions and steps for the phase.
The phases labeled "GivingData Instructions" are provided for your context. The steps in those phases are completed by GivingData staff. Reach out to your GivingData contact if you have specific questions about any of those phases, as you will not have access to open the linked resources.
Phase 1: Client Instructions
In this phase, you will create a GivingData application registration in Microsoft Entra ID for your GivingData Production site and Staging site (if applicable).
Once this is done, the same application registration details can be used for all other available GivingData integrations with Microsoft. This includes the Azure SSO integration and GivingData Outlook Add-In.
Specific permissions and manifest details vary based on the integrations you plan to set up. Refer to the article linked below for instructions.
If you are adding this integration at a later time, refer to each section in the article linked below and edit your existing application registration accordingly.
Complete the steps outlined in Create a GivingData Application Registration in Microsoft Entra ID.
