Document management must be configured in your GivingData site to create new documents directly on records, upload and edit documents on records, use document templates, and import documents from grantee portal intake forms.
GivingData Cloud is the document management option available with all GivingData subscriptions. Alternatively, GivingData also offers integrations with OneDrive and Box as add-ons with the Pro and Enterprise subscriptions.
Only one document management option can be configured per site.
Document linking can also be configured in your site. This allows you to link Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive documents in GivingData records.
With GivingData Cloud, links to documents can be shared, but the links expire after 24 hours.
The following table outlines the main differences between the three document management options and document linking.
