The Bridger Insight integration is available as an add-on to all subscriptions.
The Bridger Insight (OFAC Risk Management) integration allows you to conduct due diligence checks on organizations and contacts in your GivingData site using screening lists available through Bridger Insight. You can configure which lists to use and can set thresholds for determining what is considered a potential match. Results of these checks are automatically stored on the organization or contact record in GivingData. Watchlist checks can be run on an individual record or in batch from a super search.
The checklist below serves as a high-level overview of the integration set-up phases. The phases labeled "Client Instructions" contain the items to ensure you have checked off before moving forward, as well as linked articles with detailed instructions and steps for the phase.
The phases labeled "GivingData Instructions" are provided for your context. The steps in those phases are completed by GivingData staff. Reach out to your GivingData contact if you have specific questions about any of those phases, as you will not have access to open the linked resources.
Phase 1: Client Instructions
You have the option to either use GivingData's subscription with Bridger Insight to configure the integration, or to use your own subscription with Bridger Insight. If you choose to use GivingData's subscription, let your GivingData contact know and they can begin Phase 2 of setup.
If you choose to use your own Bridger Insight subscription, complete the steps below.
✅ Create a user in your Bridger Insight account and grant the user access to use Web Services.
✅ Provide the following information to your GivingData contact:
- Web Service Url
- Client ID
- API User ID
- API User Password
🛑 Wait to move forward until instructed by your GivingData contact.
Phase 2: GivingData Instructions
This phase is completed by your GivingData contact.
Complete the steps outlined in Bridger Insight Integration Setup: Internal Guide. Main steps for this phase include:
✅ Update the Bridger Insight fields in Client & Feature Configuration for the client's site.
✅ Reload Active Client in the client's site.
Phase 3: Client Instructions
In this phase, you will adjust watchlist settings in your site to meet your organization's specifications. Complete the steps outlined in Bridger Insight Integration (OFAC Risk Management) Setup.
✅ Configure organization watchlist checks.
✅ Configure contact watchlist checks.
Phase 4: Client Instructions
In this phase, you will review a resource for using the integration.
