When experiencing issues with the GivingData Add-In for Microsoft Outlook, it is helpful to try the steps below to refresh the Outlook add-in panel before submitting a GivingData Support ticket.
Refresh the Add-In Panel on a PC
- Navigate to an email in your Outlook inbox.
- Click GivingData.

Alternatively, click the three dots icon, and then click GivingData.

- Close the login popup (shown below) if it appears.
- Click the side panel when it displays the message shown below. Hold the Shift key and press F5 on your keyboard. This will refresh the add-in panel.
- The login popup will appear once more. Log in to your GivingData account to start using the add-in.
- If still unsuccessful, close the login popup and add-in side panel. Reopen the GivingData add-in and try to log in again.

Refresh the Add-In Panel on a Mac
- Navigate to the email in your Outlook inbox.
- Click the three dots icon, and then click GivingData.
- Click Ignore in the side panel.
- Click the side panel when it displays the message shown below. Hold the Shift key and press F5 on your keyboard. This will refresh the add-in panel.
- Once refreshed, click Reopen Login Popup and log in to your GivingData account.
- If unsuccessful, close the login popup and the add-in side panel before trying the steps once more.
